last week, i was searching for a keyword domain name..

i registered it on .me and i found it available at .tel too..

so i registered both tlds through mydomain.com

i changed the dns for the .me domain normally,

but when i came to change the dns for .tel it fails every time !

the domain have external control panel.. its ok, i had .se domain with external cpanel from them too.

so when i went to see the panel it was funny !

i am limited to change few details.. on static webpages

isn’t this old ages fashion ?

i went back to mydomain to contact the support..

they changed the support system.. and i couldn’t log in to it.. its external provider too..

then searched for any email to contact the support.. but hey they have no other option.. you have to use the system..

even if you cant login to it and you cant register and cant restore your password !

i went to my email to check old emails contacting the support to get there email from

and contacted them asking about .tel domain dns changing..

the answer was

I apologize for any inconvenience, but you can not build a website for a .TEL domain. As such, you can not point a .TEL to another hosting provider using name servers.

so i contacted them again asking for domain cancellation and getting refunded

the reply was

I apologize, but we can not refund a domain registration more then 5 days old. I apologize for any inconvenience.

so the final advice is .. don’t register .tel domains.. its worthless
